A woman in her 60s with uT3N+ gastric adenocarcinoma located at the cardia and body ( figure 1), undergoing perioperative chemotherapy, presented to the emergency department with acute abdominal pain. Examination showed generalised tenderness with painful deep palpation. Blood tests revealed raised inflammatory markers.
