Three years have passed since the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26), where the global health community united around the significant COP26 Health Programme.1 This initiative marked a milestone in global climate and health mitigation, calling for the development of climate-resilient and low-carbon sustainable health systems. However, the climate and nature crises are indivisible.2 Human health is intrinsically linked to our shared natural world. We therefore call on the world health community to replicate the COP26 Health Programme in response to the currently unfolding and existentially threatening nature and biodiversity crises.
