Ankle trauma is a primary consultation reason in the military,1 with the distal tibiofibular (DTF) joint sprain being a potentially serious but poorly known injury.2 DTF sprains can have significant functional consequences, affecting a soldier’s operational capability. Early and appropriate treatment is essential to preserve the soldier’s ability to perform their job. In this study, we aimed to evaluate military doctors’ knowledge of this injury.
