With great interest, we have been following the notable growth in the acute and chronic pain markets on an industry level. Advancements like neuromodulation and new regional techniques for opioid-sparing analgesia, alongside shifts toward ambulatory surgery and rising chronic illness, continue to engage anesthesia and pain providers in industry efforts.1 Paralleling this growth, legislative efforts have encouraged greater financial transparency between physicians and industry, like the Physician Sunshine Act of 2010.
