Pulmonary artery pseudoaneurysms (PAPAs) are very rare but potentially life-threatening complications of blunt thoracic traumas. They can present either as incidental findings or with severe haemorrhagic symptoms, including massive haemoptysis. We present a case of a man in his 30s who developed a PAPA following severe blunt thoracic trauma after a tractor accident. The patient’s symptoms developed only weeks after the initial injury and included severe haemoptysis, desaturation and cardiac arrest. The pseudoaneurysm was successfully treated via endovascular approach with an 8 mm Amplatzer Vascular Plug.
