Amyloidosis presenting in the breast and axillary lymph nodes is rare. The two patients discussed were detected as having microcalcification on screening mammograms, one in enlarged axillary lymph nodes and one in the breast. The patients were assessed in the breast screening assessment clinic, with a biopsy performed and a histological diagnosis of amyloidosis. Further work-up is essential for systemic amyloidosis, as it may be a manifestation of the systemic disorder and requires further assessment to exclude systemic diseases and haematological malignancy.
