Syphilis, a chronic sexually transmitted infection caused by Treponema pallidum, has re-emerged as a significant global health concern. Referred to as ‘The Great Imitator’, its manifestations across different stages of disease can mimic a variety of infectious and non-infectious conditions.1 Secondary syphilis is classically characterised by mucocutaneous lesions and systemic features, necessitating a high index of suspicion, particularly in atypical presentations.2
