Mediastinal paravertebral Müllerian cyst identified in a male patient

Mediastinal paravertebral Müllerian cyst (Hattori’s cyst) is a rare cystic lesion in the posterior mediastinum. 1 All previously reported cases have been observed in female patients. We herein report the first case of a mediastinal paravertebral Müllerian cyst identified in a male patient, discussing the pathogenesis of this rare cystic lesion, along with a review of the relevant literature.
