As a final year medical student who is transitioning to a career in medicine after a 25 year career in professional services, I’m pleased that NHS England has mandated a 10 point plan to improve the working conditions of resident doctors, and particularly the senior level oversight and transparent reporting to ensure the changes are delivered.1
