Cardio-oncology has emerged as a vital subspecialty addressing the cardiovascular effects of cancer and its therapies. As the prevalence of cancer survivorship grows, so too does the need for integrated care models to prevent and manage treatment-related cardiovascular complications. The 2022 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Guidelines on Cardio-Oncology provide a comprehensive framework for managing these risks through collaborative, multidisciplinary care.1 Yet, one key healthcare professional group remains largely underrepresented: hospital pharmacists.
