T-cell engagers (TCEs) have emerged as a promising tool to perform a ‘deep’ depletion of tissue B cells and plasma cells. Originally developed for the treatment of hematological diseases, TCEs have meanwhile proven effective in B cell-mediated autoimmune diseases such as systemic sclerosis and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).Learning Objectives At the end of this presentation participants will be able to:Describe the MOA of conventional therapeutic antibodies and TCEsDemonstrate current knowledge about the use of TCEs in the treatment of autoimmune diseases and in particular SLE
