CAMA+ is a digital health app for patients with cancer, providing algorithm-based personalized information, schedule management, health coaching (psychological support, diet, sleep, physical activity), and wellbeing resources. This RCT enrolled 171 patients (breast n=62, thyroid n=33, colorectal n=32, lung n=44), who were randomized to intervention or control for 8 weeks. Patient-reported outcomes, including symptom burden (Memorial Symptom Assessment Scale-Short Form, MSAS-SF), self-efficacy, quality of life, and psychological adjustment, were assessed at baseline and post-intervention. Linear mixed models were used. The intervention group showed significant reductions in MSAS-SF Global Distress Index (p=0.029) and Psychological Symptoms (p=0.004). In the breast cancer subgroup, self-efficacy (p=0.003) and psychological adjustment (p=0.046) improved significantly. Higher engagement predicted better outcomes: information-use correlated with lower symptom burden (r=-0.199, p=0.048), and psychological-coaching use correlated with improved adjustment (r=-0.291, p=0.003). CAMA+ reduced symptom burden across cancer types, with higher engagement associated with greater symptom reduction.
