I cannot quite believe that it has been 4 months (at the time of writing) since I started as Editor-in-Chief at the journal, but I am thoroughly enjoying my new role. I am delighted to be working with such an excellent team, and, as I write, I am looking forward to meeting many of them at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine Annual Conference in Birmingham.
