Tackling health inequalities in dementia is a public health priority

Giebel and colleagues call for a national strategy for dementia care.1 This call should be extended beyond care to all of dementia through a biopsychosocial approach to care, cure, and prevention to overcome fragmentation between approaches and inspire cross sectional strategies.2 Deep seated health inequalities must be reduced as part of a national dementia strategy.
