The ongoing conflict in Ukraine since February 2022 has led to a significant refugee crisis, with many Ukrainians seeking protection across Europe. Among these refugees are individuals with pre-existing serious or chronic illnesses requiring continued medical care in their host countries. This case report highlights the challenges faced by healthcare providers in Switzerland when treating Ukrainian refugees, particularly in the context of palliative care for advanced cancer patients.
