A 12-year-old child with atopic dermatitis treated with topical glucocorticoids and calcineurin inhibitors presented with generalised skin lesions and night-time itching for the previous 6 months. Physical examination revealed erythematous infiltrated plaques covered by thick grey-brown, slightly yellowish crusts.
