The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill is currently under debate within the UK Parliament. If passed, the bill will affect individuals living in England and Wales, providing a legal framework for assisted dying if certain criteria are met.1 The bill will apply to individuals with a terminal illness who are reasonably expected to have a prognosis of less than 6 months, although this may be subject to change as the bill is still under debate.1
