According to GLOBOCAN 2022, primary liver cancer ranks as the sixth most common cancer and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths, with approximately 865 269 new cases and 757 948 deaths in 2022.1 Without intensified screening and treatment, global HBV-related deaths are projected to rise by roughly 39% between 2015 and 2030.2
