We appreciate the insightful comments from Zhou et al1 regarding our prospective study investigating the relationship between pain relief and catastrophizing following interventional pain procedures.2 Zhou et al’s letter brings forth valid methodological considerations; we would like to take this opportunity to review the limitations of our study and provide suggestions for designing future trials in this space.
