We have read Won Uk Koh’s article ‘Pericapsular nerve group block (PENG) and supra-inguinal Fascia Iliaca Compartment Block (SIFICB) on dynamic pain in patients with hip fractures: a Randomized Controlled Trial.1’ Peripheral nerve blocks provide perioperative analgesic control in patients with hip fractures.2 Comparing PENG block, a newer alternative, with more established options, such as the SIFICB, is a clinically relevant question.
