Ketamine is associated with several adverse effects on the central nervous system, including delirium. Elderly patients are more prone to delirium. 1 This study describes the incidence of delirium across three age groups: <65 years, 65–79 years, and ≥80 years among patients receiving low-dose ketamine infusion for treatment of acute pain for postoperative and non-surgical indications.
