Giordano1 takes issue with recommendation 6 of the Cass review to limit the provision of puberty blockers (PBs) and cross-sex hormones (CSHs) to a research study. She argues that PBs and CSHs do not constitute experimental treatment for gender dysphoria (GD), nor is such limitation to clinical trials necessary to obtain more evidence on these treatments. As I will argue, both arguments fail.
