Acting CDC director calls for MMR break-up in overhaul of US vaccine schedule

Jim O’Neill, acting director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has said that the combined measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine should be broken up into three separate injections and given at wider intervals.
