Introduction Despite studies on the feasibility and safety of transradial access in cerebral diagnostic angiography, the effect of the transradial approach on patient quality of life remains unexplored.Aim of Study The objective of this study was to assess the impact of the transradial approach in diagnostic cerebral procedures on quality of life during follow-up assessments after the procedure.Method In this prospective study, quality of life was assessed using the 36-Item Short Form Survey (SF-36), which includes both the Physical Component Summary (PCS) and the Mental Component Summary (MCS). The SF-36 questionnaire was administered at baseline (pre-procedure), as well as at 1-month and 3-month follow-up visits. The analysis of repeated measures was performed using repeated-measures ANOVA (rmANOVA).Results Over the 12-month study period, 34 patients (12 male, 22 female) were enrolled. At 1- and 3-month follow-ups, both the physical (PCS) and mental (MCS) component scores of the SF-12 showed slight improvements compared to baseline. PCS scores were 45.7 ±9.0 at baseline, 45.9 ±7.9 at 1 month, and 46.2 ±8.8 at 3 months. MCS scores were 45.5 ±10.6 at baseline, 50.2 ±9.0 at 1 month, and 50.0 ±9.7 at 3 months. However, these changes were not statistically significant according to repeated-measures ANOVA.Conclusion The transradial access in diagnostic cerebral angiography did not result in a significant effect on quality of life within the three-month follow-up period.Conflict of Interest No
