Drug-induced acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis: insights from FAERS data on a rare but severe cutaneous adverse reaction

Acute generalised exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP) is a rare and severe cutaneous reaction characterised by the sudden onset of numerous sterile, non-follicular and diffuse pustules on an erythematous and edematous base. The eruption is usually accompanied by fever and neutrophilic leukocytosis. In most cases, AGEP is drug induced.1
