Less is more – but for whom? Evaluating patient reported outcomes in de-implementation

All over the world, patients receive healthcare that has little to no benefit, also called low-value care. There have been an increasing number of initiatives to reduce, or de-implement, low-value care, in order to reduce unnecessary risks and side effects for patients, curb the healthcare expenses and create room for high-value care.
