The authors report that standardised questionnaires are useful in assessing bleeding risks in patients with oculoplastic surgery. Acetylsalicylic acid, diabetes mellitus, renal disease and general anesthesia increase bleeding risk, while anticoagulants and an increased blood pressure do not.
