Bellis and colleagues’ discussion of the arms industry is refreshing, especially in light of the world’s largest arms fair, Defence and Security Equipment International, being held in London.1 Their analysis came at a crucial time as the UN commission of inquiry confirmed the genocide in Gaza. Our duty is to our patients but also to our health professional colleagues who are victims of war and conflict.
