The present thesis aimed to investigate the effects of high-intensity circuit training (HICT) as an exercise intervention, either alone or in combination with sleep or dietary interventions, across a series of studies. Specifically, Study I compared HICT with cycling-based high-intensity interval training (HIIT); Study II examined HICT in conjunction with a sleep-health intervention and Study III evaluated HICT combined with either time-restricted eating (TRE) or a Mediterranean diet (MED). The outcomes assessed encompassed various health outcomes in women, including cardiometabolic health, sleep health and executive function.
