We are delighted to invite you to the 2026 UK Public Health Science (UKPHS) conference held in collaboration with our new partner, the Society for Social Medicine and Population Health (SSMPH). Previously supported by The Lancet and held annually in late November, the conference will now take place in spring to complement the SSMPH’s annual autumn meeting. This edition of the UKPHS conference will be held on Tuesday 21 April 2026 in Newcastle upon Tyne. This event showcases the very best new research in public health relevant to the UK and Ireland to support the Society’s aim of advancing knowledge for population health. Join researchers, practitioners, policy-makers and people with lived experience in a welcoming and inclusive setting to share ideas, address current challenges and explore how evidence can guide public health practice, policy, services and future research.
