A woman in her late twenties presented to an Australian tertiary hospital with syncope following 3 days of melena and pre-syncopal symptoms. Her social history was notable for illicit methamphetamine, cannabis and benzodiazepine use. Furthermore, she reported tobacco and alcohol use. She was not on any medications and had no past medical history.
