Standard concentration infusions in neonatal care: a critical review of the literature and guidance for implementation in practice

There is a national debate about how we transition our neonatal units to standard concentration infusions (SCIs) to improve safety and efficiency. This paper sets out the background on how the current frameworks of neonatal SCIs were developed, and how safe prescribing can be supported in practice without using complex technologies.
