Background and Aims Peripheral nerve stimulation (PNS) of the occipital nerve at C2 is a novel approach that can be utilized in occipital pain treatment.Methods In this retrospective case series, we retrospectively reviewed patients who received percutaneous implantation of neurostimulator electrodes with the SPRINT PNS System (SPR Therapeutics, Cleveland, OH, USA) from August 2022 to December 2023 at MetroHealth Medical Center Pain Clinic for occipital pain, occipital headaches, and cervicogenic headaches. They were treated with temporary percutaneous implantation of neurostimulator electrodes targeting the greater occipital nerve.Results There were overall decreases in opioid consumption and pain scores.
