With a resurgence in operational activity in low temperatures, military medical care must adapt to operating in extreme cold weather (ECW) environments.1 For small and mobile teams, emergency medications will be exposed to temperatures far below freezing and outside storage recommendations.2 Therefore consideration must be given to how best to protect these vital ampoules when working in ECW.3
