A term female infant, born at 37 weeks of gestation with a birth weight of 3 kg, was antenatally diagnosed with bilateral hydroureteronephrosis. Postnatal micturating cystourethrogram showed features of posterior urethral valve, for which she underwent cystoscopic fulguration on day 7 of life. She was started on cephalexin prophylaxis.
