Background Whilst Parkinson’s, Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis are three different conditions, a common feature is that all continue for life. Expert clinically authorised and approved repositories already exist and are reliably maintained for these three conditions. As patient care is a life-long and sometimes progressive (i.e. treatment and monitoring plan evolves), management of these conditions relies heavily on patients‘ involvement in their own care.Due to various pressures, immediate access to specialist healthcare professionals may not always be feasible. Objective This quality improvement project aims to raise awareness regarding existence of, and access to, reliable resources that could play an efficient and safe role in bridging this gap, in the event that specialist healthcare professionals are not immediately available. This is by (Ι)surveying a diverse calibre of patients, aiming to determine the current state of access and usage of information available; and (II)evaluating the impact of improving access to, and use of, this material in safe, informed and efficient patient care.amy.eskander@nhs.net
