Amid efforts to reduce opioid exposure, interest in non-opioid pharmacologic therapies has grown. Suzetrigine, also known as Journavx or VX-548, is a novel NaV1.8 sodium channel inhibitor that targets peripheral nociceptors without engaging central opioid pathways.1 Analyses of >300 million patient records found that suzetrigine prescription rates more than doubled between April and August 2025.2 Understanding the questions people are asking and the quality of online information is therefore essential to guide expectations and counseling, as many individuals rely on internet sources to guide treatment decisions and expectations.3 Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the content and quality of publicly available online information regarding suzetrigine.
