We welcome Simpson and colleagues’ call for greater clarity and collaboration around the national widening participation strategy for medicine1 and agree that greater collective efforts are needed to remove persistent barriers to success—particularly important in light of projected recruitment shortfalls.2 But we’d like to raise several inaccuracies in the article’s representation of King’s College London.
