Point-of-care-ultrasound (POCUS) has expanded into paediatrics in recent years, helping users to answer a wide range of clinical questions.1 2 Despite an established evidence base, POCUS has been less widely embraced by paediatricians, with previous UK surveys describing POCUS as an essential adjunct to paediatric emergency medicine (PEM), but its use remains largely ‘untapped’ due to the absence of established training pathways.3 4
